Keep your Florida division online account current

The division runs licensing through an online account. Keep the email on it current, because that is where notices go.

Every applicant and licensee must create and keep the account. The email on file is the primary contact for all division communications.

Routine Florida inspections happen at least once a year

The division inspects every licensed establishment each year. The inspection year runs from July 1 to June 30.

It can also inspect at any other time it decides is necessary to protect public health and safety.

Keep the latest inspection report on the truck. A customer who asks to see it is entitled to.

Keep the license decal fixed where it can be seen. Keep your certified manager designation and your staff training records with them.

Changes to report to the division between Florida renewals

Tell the division before you switch commissaries. The notice is DBPR HR-7022, filed for each kitchen before you use it.

Changing the truck's equipment can also trigger plan review. Adding, removing or moving equipment counts as remodeling.
